What Xynterra Delivers
Three service divisions, one connected platform, from acoustic acquisition, to remote fleet operations, to the marine survey and geospatial data that supports it.
Services / Geophysical
Swarming Drone Technology (SDT)
SDT is a distributed, intelligent network of acoustic subsea nodes, designed for minimal vessel dependency and maximum operational agility. Instead of one large vessel deploying one long streamer, a swarm of small autonomous drones deploys itself.
Autonomous Navigation & Positioning
Each node navigates itself to its survey position using onboard inertial and acoustic positioning, coordinating with the swarm to hold precise, repeatable geometry without diver or ROV intervention.
Acoustic Sensing & Data Fidelity
Multi component seismic sensors capture high fidelity subsurface data, enabling dense channel counts and repeatable imaging, including in complex environments obstructed by platforms.
Secure Telemetry & Data Governance
Encrypted telemetry and onboard data management protect survey data in transit and at rest, from acquisition through to the processing handoff.
Modular Energy & Pressure Tolerant Design
A pressure tolerant housing and modular energy platform are engineered for rapid servicing on deck: swap batteries or modules rather than repair in the field.
Launch & Recovery
Deployment and recovery systems are being developed in parallel with the node itself, designed to handle high node volumes safely, minimising manual handling on deck.
Depth roadmap
Shallow water first, deep water by design
The platform's initial focus is shallow water, expanding toward deep water capability as the design matures, using the same node architecture, engineered from the start to scale across both.
Manufacturing
Built to scale from the first unit
Design for Manufacture
DFM principles applied from the outset, so the same design that performs in trials is the one that scales in production.
Circular Supply Chain
Component and material choices favour reuse, refurbishment, and less lock in to any single material across the fleet lifecycle.
ISO Aligned Governance
Quality, environmental, and safety governance frameworks built in early, to keep the technology ready for investment and commercially scalable.
Services / ROC
Remote Operations Centre
Every node in the swarm is monitored, coordinated, and recovered from a Remote Operations Centre based on shore, keeping fleet control ashore, not on deck.
Shore Based Monitoring
Live telemetry from every active node streamed to an operations desk on shore, giving full fleet visibility without personnel offshore.
Remote Mission Control
Survey plans, positioning corrections, and recovery instructions issued to the swarm remotely, reducing vessel crew and offshore decision latency.
Fleet Wide Diagnostics
Continuous health monitoring across the node fleet, flagging maintenance or recovery needs before they become field incidents.

Services / Space
Space: Marine Survey & Geospatial
Marine survey, positioning, and geospatial data services, including RSNMR, that support acquisition planning and complement Xynterra's acoustic data.
Marine Survey
Positioning, bathymetric, and site characterisation survey services supporting acquisition planning and marine operations.
RSNMR
Remote sensing and subsurface characterisation based on NMR, complementing acoustic acquisition with additional geophysical data streams.
Geospatial & Positioning
High precision positioning and geospatial data services underpinning survey accuracy and repeatability across every deployment.
Draft copy, to be reviewed and finalised.
Sustainability & safety
Less vessel time. Fewer people offshore. Same data quality.
Every node deployed autonomously removes vessel time, offshore personnel exposure, and fuel burn compared with legacy towed and OBN operations, supporting lower emissions intensity surveys without compromising subsurface image quality.
